Why We Exist
Carpet cleaning has a reputation problem, and it earned it: bait-and-switch coupons, "technicians" who upsell harder than they clean, and companies that mask odors instead of removing them. We started Emerald City Carpet Cleaners to be the company we couldn't find as customers — one that quotes a real price on the phone, shows up when it says it will, and does the unglamorous work (agitation, dwell time, extra dry passes) that separates a real deep clean from a wet carpet.
How We Operate
- Up-front pricing. The price we quote is the price you pay. Anything extra (pet treatment, specialty stains) is agreed to before we start — never invented in your hallway.
- Honest assessments. If your carpet needs replacing, if there's refinishable hardwood underneath, if a stain won't come out — we say so, even when it costs us the job. That honesty is our whole marketing plan.
- Safe products. Non-toxic, pet-safe solutions, thoroughly rinsed. What's safe for the toddler and the dog is also better for the Puget Sound watershed.
- Licensed & insured. Fully, with certificates of insurance available to landlords and building managers on request.
