Upholstery & Couch Cleaning
Your couch takes more hours of body contact than your carpet ever will — and it's usually never been cleaned. We fix that without shrinking, fading, or water-ringing your fabric.
Fabric First, Machine Second
Upholstery is less forgiving than carpet. Cotton blends water-spot, some synthetics hold dye loosely, and cushion foam soaks up over-wetting like a sponge. Before anything touches your furniture we check the manufacturer's cleaning code and test an inconspicuous spot. Then we clean with low-moisture heated extraction designed for furniture — enough power to pull out body oils, food, and pet dander, gentle enough to leave the fabric exactly the color and shape it started.
What We Clean
- Sofas, sectionals, and loveseats
- Recliners and armchairs
- Dining chairs and ottomans
- Mattresses (a favorite for allergy households)
- Car and RV upholstery by arrangement
The Allergy Angle
Dust mites, pet dander, and skin oils accumulate in upholstery for years. If someone in your house wakes up congested, the couch and the mattress are prime suspects. Hot extraction removes the allergen load rather than stirring it up the way vacuuming alone does. Pair it with carpet cleaning in the same visit and we discount the combined job.
Pricing
Sofas typically run $80–$150 depending on size and fabric; sectionals $120–$220; chairs and ottomans less. Pet hair removal and odor treatment quoted up front. Exact price confirmed before we start, always.
Questions About This Service
How long does a couch take to dry?
Usually 2–6 hours depending on fabric and airflow. We use low-moisture methods specifically so you're not sleeping on a damp sofa.
Can you get pet hair and dander out?
Yes — we pre-vacuum with an upholstery tool, then extract. For heavy shedding we add a dry-removal pass first, quoted up front.
Will cleaning remove the 'couch smell'?
Body oils and trapped dander cause most furniture odor, and extraction removes both. Pet urine in cushions needs enzyme treatment — same process as our pet odor service.
Do you clean leather?
We clean and condition finished leather. Unfinished (aniline) leather needs a specialist and we'll tell you honestly if that's what you have.
